Who We Are
J&R Senior Sheetmetal Inc., a family-owned and operated business in Westerly, Rhode Island, specializes in custom copper work. Serving most of Rhode Island, including Block Island, we bring 30 years of metal experience across three generations and over 40 years of roofing expertise to ensure your home stays dry. We take pride in tackling the unique challenges of building coastal homes and prioritize providing quality service and products that withstand the harsh New England weather. If you can build it, we can cover it (in metal, of course). Over the past 30 years, we have earned a reputation for using innovative approaches to help our clients achieve their goals. We provide exceptional customer service and work closely with builders, roofers, and homeowners to fully understand their needs and expectations.
What We Do
We specialize in custom metal work using a variety of tools, from antique hand tools to modern machines, including a CNC fiber optic laser cutter, CNC 10’ autobrake, and 10’ digital shear. These tools, combined with our creativity and talent, allow us to fabricate simple to intricate custom flashings, roof vents, wall vents, drip edges, and custom metal roofing. We also provide customized signs and home décor, with all our products proudly MADE IN THE USA using American machinery and metals. While our specialty is copper (bright, lead-coated, and Freedom Gray copper), most of our products are also available in .032 aluminum. We stock five colors of Englert and 12 colors of PREFA aluminum, and we understand the urgency required to get the job done. Typically, we can have your order ready for pickup in one business day. Some examples of our products include drip edge, drip cap, specialty flashing, and roof and wall vents, all available in 10ft lengths. Additionally, we offer standing seam roof bundles that include everything you need to complete the job from start to finish, such as high temp ice and water shield, wall flashings, drip edge, panels, clips & screws, z-bar, and ridge caps.
